Education

PhD Candidate at University of California, Merced

I am a 4th year Ph.D. candidate studying Mechanical Engineering at UC Merced. My research interests lay in the field of two-phase heat transfer, pool boiling, thermal energy storage, and electronics cooling. My current research is in studying liquid-vapor dynamics in pool boiling to create high heat flux cooling systems. During my undergraduate studies I was a recipient of the NASA funded Merced nAnomaterials Center for Energy and Sensing (MACES) Fellowship and I was an undergraduate researcher for the Dr. James Palko Lab at UC Merced.
